In this lesson you will have the opportunity to comprehend and analyze literary work as authors introduce, develop, and connect ideas or events in informational and literary texts; as well as identifying the author’s purpose, word choice, main ideas, and supporting details in a variety of texts.
During the lesson, the student will be able to:

- analyze how an author makes connections between ideas or events in literary and informational texts
