This lesson focuses on enhancing your writing. There are numerous grammar rules that allow English speakers and writers to correctly use the language. Students will specifically learn how to use correct agreement parallel structure; and they will also learn how to avoid sentence fragments and run-ons.
During the lesson, the student will be able to:
- identify run-on sentences, sentence fragments, compound and complex sentences
- use coordinating conjunctions to indicate the relationship between ideas
- write in complete sentences, including compound and complex sentences
- analyze written texts to ensure correct subject-verb agreement and parallel structure
