Good Habits


1.B.CB1.IE.2 – Express the benefits that good hygiene, healthy eating and exercise habits have on the human body. Examples include brushing your teeth, washing hands, bathing, washing hair, cleaning the house, choose healthy food alternatives, and playing outdoors.


Starting off on the good track will lead children on a path to a healthy lifestyle. By distinguishing between good and bad habits, children can make better choices for their wellbeing. Understanding the harm of not having good personal care will motivate them to avoid unhealthy practices even if it means more effort.

During the lesson, the student will be able to:

  1. Identify good hygiene and healthy eating;
  2. Recognize the product or items used to clean and their function;
  3. Distinguish between healthy and unhealthy food choices;
  4. Describe personal hygiene routines.
