The students will be able to recognize a narrative, persuasive and descriptive texts with their different elements. Also, be able to identify arguments with evidence from the text.

During the lesson, the student will be able:

  • develop a logical argument; 
  • identify specific claims in a text;
  • determine if claims are supported by relevant and sufficient evidence;
  • analyze an argument and give his/her point of view about it.
