An analogy is a comparison between two things that are usually thought to be different from each other, but that have something in common. Analogies can help reading and build vocabulary.
Throughout this lesson the students will:
- identify and learn to distinguish analogy words;
- compare analogy words and construct a bridge sentence for each comparison;
- identify similes and metaphors that are analogies in short poems.
