In this lesson, students will work with root words and their affixes, such as prefixes and suffixes to understand the meaning of unknown words, as well as combine roots to create new words.

During the lesson, the student will be able to:

  • identify suffixes and prefixes; 
  • identify Greek and Latin affixes and roots; 
  • combine roots and affixes in order to create new words.
