In this lesson students will learn about the concept of comparing and contrasting facts between stories and other forms of texts.

During the lesson, the student will be able to:

  •  define fact and opinion;
  •  compare and contrast historical fiction with historical nonfiction;
  •  infer meaning from text;
  •  make connections with the text (text to world, text to text, text to self).
