Specific textual evidence is evidence from a text (fiction or nonfiction) used to illustrate ideas and support arguments. All textual evidence should: support a specific point of view.

Throughout the lesson, the student will be able to:

  • identify and cite specific evidence from the text. 
  • plan and deliver an oral presentation.
