Affixes are word parts attached to the beginning or end of a base word or root to make a new word. In this lesson we will be using affixes from Latin and Greek.

Throughout this lesson the student will be able to:

apply correctly affixes to root words

identify the root word

create new words by adding suffixes and prefixes
