Students will learn to write in persuasive ways, persuade others in conversations, and be prepared to answer when a negative response appears.

During the lesson, the student will be able:

  • identify author’s purpose;
  • analyze an advertisement according to their employment of these techniques;
  • express opinion through oral presentations and writing;  
  • write a persuasive speech.
