This lesson is designed to allow the students to master the skills of writing a correct and organized narrative. Students will be able to identify a main idea, describe characters and describe a setting as key elements of writing a story.
During the lesson, the student will be able to:
- describe a character using specific details from the text regarding the character’s thoughts, words, actions, decisions, physical attributes, or interactions with others;
- describe a setting using specific details from the text regarding the time and place;
- describe an event using specific details from the text regarding the action and sequence of the story.
