Understanding informational texts is key for academic and career success. Students will learn the importance of finding key details, analyzing organization, and identifying the type of informative text.

During the lesson, the student will be able to:

  • explain events, procedures, ideas, or concepts in an informational text, by describing what happened, why it happened, and how it happened;
  • find specific information in the text, to support my explanations.
