In this lesson the student will learn the meaning of literary text and how to distinguish between literal and non-literal texts. Furthermore, the student will also learn the meaning of figurative language as well as how to identify the different types.

During the lesson, the student will be able to:

  • identify literal and non-literal language;
  • interpret literal and non-literal words and phrases;
  • create literal and non-literal texts;
  • distinguish and read the literal and non-literal language.
