In this lesson the students will listen to and read words with different consonant combinations; they will recognize consonant blends and consonant digraphs and understand the difference between them.

During this unit the student will be able to:

  • distinguish consonant combinations and their sounds;
  • recognize the difference between a blending sound and a diagraph;
  • listen and read words with different consonant combinations.
