Students will learn the leading words used in text to create a story, or to create the steps to follow. They will practice understanding the sequence of a story.

During this lesson, students will be able to:

  • identify the leading words in the text;
  • identify the sequence of events in a story;
  • follow the steps of events in organized order;
  • predict what will happen.
