This lesson will allow the student to describe characters, setting, events or key ideas using details and illustrations from a text.

Throughout this lesson the students will:

  • identify the story elements ( characters, setting and events ) of a story or text;
  • determine character traits based on the information in a text to describe characters;
  • recognize details in a story to describe the setting.
