During the lesson, the student will be able to: Recognizes ending punctuation; Shows proper use of punctuation marks when reading; Writes short sentences applying ending punctuation.

Each sentence is a complete thought. The punctuation at the end of the sentence tells the reader the sentence has ended and tells the type of sentence it is. An exclamation point is at the end of an exclamatory sentence. A question mark ends a interrogative sentence that asks a question.

Throughout this lesson the students will:

  •       recognize and use correctly ending punctuation

  •        write different types of sentences applying ending punctuation correctly
